WHAT IS MASSETER BOTOX?

Botox is an injectable muscle relaxer. It uses onabotulinumtoxinA, a neurotoxin that temporarily paralyzes the muscle. If it’s used in your masseter muscles it can also help with slimming of the jaw/ face and manage facial pain.

The masseter is one of the muscles that helps you chew. The masseter is located on the side of your face that connects your cheekbone to your lower jawbone.
